About us

Eastbrook Capital was founded in 2016 with a clear focus: provide flexible capital to real estate investors and operators where traditional financing fell short.

We began by deploying private capital into short-term residential mortgages — primarily bridge loans and small-scale construction financing across Ontario which is still a core part of our business today. Our focus on speed, creativity, and strong underwriting allowed us to build a reputation as a reliable capital partner in an inefficient segment of the market.

As our lending platform grew between 2017 and 2019, we gained deep insight into how to unlock value — not just by financing deals, but by controlling and developing them directly. This led to Eastbrook’s expansion into active real estate development in 2020, acquiring and repositioning residential and mixed-use assets, assembling land, and structuring long-term rental projects.

Since inception, Eastbrook has not raised outside equity. The company is 100% family-owned and wholly funded by retained earnings and reinvested capital. This ownership model gives us the flexibility to take a long-term view, move decisively on new opportunities.

Today, Eastbrook Capital is a vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm. We specialize in ground-up multifamily projects, value-add repositioning, and private lending. Our platform is built on deep market knowledge, disciplined underwriting, and a fully aligned, hands-on ownership team.
